An aerospace company sought out Lindsay Machine Works Inc. for this custom metal fabrication
. The part described is a Stripping Fixture for a process used by our clients. The part is mounted in the Hurco VM10 CNC Mill.
First, the top is fly-cut, and is faced, finished and engraved.
The excess material is cut off, which was used for holding the part. Then, ¼-20 tapped holes are drilled in the back of the part, completing this process.
Once this piece of the fixture is ready, other parts manufactured by Lindsay Machine Works are added to complete the assembly. This custom manufactured piece will be going to benefit the aerospace industry.
